If not, please start a lits topic. Hey, do any one of you guys know if they ever came out with an R7 Draw 3 iron that is not a hybrid? Just from my opinion: The Burner iron was next and again the performance was just about the same as the R7.

The irons set up pretty nicely behind the ball and they look like they mean business with their thicker topline. These clubs flat out outperform most others. There was another thread already on this: Cleveland halo Game Improvement: Titleist – Geared towards better players. These are irons built for ease of use and power; so how do they hold up against their younger glf and sisters?

Granted, Cleveland makes fantastic wedges too. Hogan, Titleist, and Mizuno have special places in my heart because they make, on the whole, clubs geared towards the better player. Posted February 14, Sure they are a little longer in the tooth than some but they still do what good irons do and remain very comparable to the R9 and Burner models for feel, performance and distance.
I would really like to get a 54 or 56 and a 60 in the MP-Rs. I believe they also tell you each participants current clubs and who purchased what as a result of the testing. It took me a few times to get used to them but after three rounds I started to hit my irons with greater consistency and slightly further — although the angles of the R7 irons is less, so it is a bit misleading.
